uaCSTA handset are normal SIP handsets that are configured to connect to a uaCSTA server over SIP. The uaCSTA session is only used for monitor and control the normal SIP accounts. The handset is known by the number of the first working account (the primary).

Firmware Requirements (for new installations):

Yealink models supporting uaCSTA and tested or confirmed in a production environment with the ucplus Server
T31P, T33P, T42U, VP59
Firmware 80,81,82,83.86
Firmware .84 not supported for T4x or T5x

The Yealink models below have been tested but are now end of life from Yealink and will have limited support.
T40P, T41P, T42G, T46G, T48G, T56, T58A.

Firmware .86 required for T31P & T33

Yealink models supporting uaCSTA but not tested for use with ucplus Server
T43U, T46U, T48U, T53w, T54w, T57w,

Yealink models not supported for uaCSTA
T32, T55. T23 EOL firmware .85 hung calls

Yealink models with no uaCSTA support:
T30P/T30/T19(P) E2/CP920 phones

Note: Firmware 84 is not supported, firmware .85 is not supported on T2x handsets, hung call issues.

Example = .82 is the firmware version.

Other Requirements:

Handsets need to be configured individually (or via provisioning) to point to the uaCSTA server.Any account on the phone can be used for uaCSTA the line 1 is monitored.
